DAY 61: ROLES OF THE PRESIDENT PRESENTATIONS

TODAY WE WILL...

1.   In groups, complete and present about one of the Roles of the President.  Your poster should include the following elements:

• Title, drawing of symbol of the role, definition of the role as presented in your book or blue packet
• 3 quotations...some you will find in your blue packet...if you need more check your text or Google it
• 3 examples from history...you can use the examples from class (above) or in your blue packet
• 3 examples of our current President fulfilling this role...refer to the last 2 pages of your packet which you should have completed for homework:  Presidential Roles Activity - search for examples of Trump from YouTube, news sources, etc...look for the links on the right of the BLOG... (examples are provided but you need to find one other)
• FYI -YOU WILL BE GIVEN 20 MINUTES IN CLASS TO PUT YOUR POSTER TOGETHER AND PUT TOGETHER A PRESENTATION FOR THE CLASS

2. Turn in your BLUE packets..,..which includes:

• Descriptions of the Roles of the President  that looks like this
• Gallery Walk around the room identifying  Roles of the President - 12 History scenarios

• Read and annotate the rest of Chapter 7: The Presidency in your textbook:
• 7.5 SLIDES
• 7.6 SLIDES
