DAY 16: THE STRUCTURE OF THE CONSTITUTION

TODAY WE WILL:

1. In class we will be reviewing 2.4 and you will be taking notes in your Week 4 Packet.

2.  Constitutional Principles notes
3. Articles of Confederation Comparison questions - answer 3 in your packet as we review
4. The Constitution Cheat Sheet - Text Structure analysis...just quickly identify each section of the constitution for quick reference
5. Separation of Powers Cheat Sheet...list powers of each branch from the articles I-III

....we are going to talk about 2.5 & 2.6 briefly tomorrow before the quiz and after I will describe a project you will be working on for next week

HOMEWORK:

• Complete Bill of Rights Week 4 pages 10-11:
• Watch Video Link:  A 3 Minute Guide to the Bill of Rights 
• Use your Text page 37 and 423-427,  to complete the Amendments cheat sheet on Week 4,page 5 and 10-11
• Review text 37-39 or 2.6 slides below and complete Amending the Constitution Notes Week 4, page 12
• Make sure 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 notes done ...for Friday quiz!
