1. Complete Democratic Ideal poster in groups and present the meaning and information of each democratic ideal to class so students can take notes

• Read pages 12-16 in Week 2 packet. 
• Read the “Declaration of Independence” on pages 17-19 in the Week 2 packet.
• Summarize each section in your own words... think about the 5 Democratic Ideals. 
• On page 20, write one quote from the Declaration that demonstrates each ideal and explain.
