DAY 2: WHAT IS AN FRQ AND WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AP?

TODAY WE WILL:

1.  Create a Name Plate Tent.

2.  Complete an identity chart (example) and describe yourself to a partner...partners pay attention!  You will have to introduce them to another group!

3. Introduce and practice an FRQ. Interview a classmate and write an FRQ response paragraph - Intro Interview a Classmate FRQ HANDOUT

4. Go over instructions for homework "AP STUDENT WEB HUNT: What is AP US Government and Politics?" HANDOUT and visit the AP College Board Student Site:  https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/home

5. Check Gmail for my email.  Bookmark Blog. Check out Schoology Course and Google Drive Folder.

HOMEWORK:

• Complete the Interview FRQ and be prepared to present your partner on Friday.
• Complete the AP STUDENT WEB HUNT

LOOKING AHEAD FOR MONDAY:

• Make sure you have a textbook!
• Read pages 2-7 in your textbook (Chapter 1: 1.1 and 1.2) and take notes YOUR WAY!
