DAY 13: FEDERALIST AND ANTI-FEDERALIST CHECK-IN

TODAY WE WILL:

1.  Review Fed. No.10 and Brutus No.1 on pages 15-20 in the Week 3 packet


2.  Formative assessment-quick check-in quiz
3.  Class time to FINISH the Constitution study guide pages 21-34 in the Week 3 packet

HOMEWORK:
  • Get Parent/Guardian signatures! DON'T FORGET OPEN HOUSE ON TUESDAY AT 6PM.

DAY 9: TYPES OF DEMOCRACIES AND INTRO TO THE ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION

TODAY WE WILL:
  1. Review pages 26-30 "Applying the Models of Democracy " in the Week 2 Packet.  Try to identify the Democratic Model in each example and then choose 3 cartoons, 3 quotations, and 3 scenarios and explain your choice....Week 2 packets collected!
  2. Review and receive parent letter, syllabus and Emergency Pass
  3. Review Sections 2.2 SLIDES and 2.3 SLIDES about the  Articles of Confederation and the Constitutional Convention pages 21-27...QUIZ POSTPONED UNTIL TUESDAY!
  4. Receive Week 3 packet ...overview
