    DAY 66: CONTROL AND OVERSIGHT OF THE BUREAUCRACY

    TODAY WE WILL...

    THERE WILL BE AN FRQ WORKSHOP TODAY  -TUESDAY, 2:30-3:30, ROOM 152-J.


    During the workshop, I will give direct instruction for 15-20 minutes about the topic of the question and students will immediately be given an FRQ to complete in 20-30 minutes.  The scores of the FRQs will be added to the Writing Portfolio and averaged with the other unit test scores. Please note:
    • Students should plan on staying for the FULL hour.  
    • Any student arriving after 2:40 will not be allowed in the class.

    DAY 65: Bureaucracy - Introduction, Types, and Limits on

    THERE WILL BE AN FRQ WORKSHOP TOMORROW  -TUESDAY, 2:30-3:30, ROOM 152-J.

    1.   In groups, complete and present about one of the Roles of the President.  Your poster should include the following elements:
    • Title, drawing of symbol of the role, definition of the role as presented in your book or blue packet
    • 3 quotations...some you will find in your blue packet...if you need more check your text or Google it
    • 3 examples from history...you can use the examples from class (above) or in your blue packet
    • 3 examples of our current President fulfilling this role...refer to the last 2 pages of your packet which you should have completed for homework:  Presidential Roles Activity - search for examples of Trump from YouTube, news sources, etc...look for the links on the right of the BLOG...
