S2 - DAY 64/65: APRIL16/17 - ARGUMENT ESSAY

DON'T FORGET TO COMPLETE ATTENDANCE ON MONDAY,TUESDAY,THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY!

Hi Everyone!

FYI - APRIL 17 PROGRESS REPORT GRADES ARE DUE!  If you are NOT completing any work your grade WILL go down by ONE letter grade from the MARCH 13 PROGRESS REPORT!
If you are confused, here is what you should have completed so far as well as the new lesson for today!


1. APRIL7/8 -  JOIN Ms. Ryan's Edpuzzle Class here:  https://edpuzzle.com/join/lecijve and  COMPLETE: 

• Edpuzzle Review Video 1: 1.2 &1.3 Democracy, Government Power and Individual Rights (43 MIN!) THIS WILL BE GRADED AND PUT INTO HAC
• April 7 Review Video 2: 1.6 Principles of American Government  EXTRA CREDIT
• April 8 Review Video 3: 1.7 Relationships with States and Federal Power EXTRA CREDIT
• April 9 Review Video 4: 1.8 Constitutional Interpretations of Federalism EXTRA CREDIT

2.  APRIL 13/14 - CREATE your own "paper" cheat sheet for the 9 Foundational Documents and SEND ME ONE BIG PICTURE.  Use a half sheet of paper for each document and write down bullet points in your own words. Use any of the sources below to help you:

• APGOPO REQUIRED DOCUMENTS - Each document is grouped under a BIG IDEA of the course.  The actual documents, audio, and video analysis are attached for each one.
• Required Docs CRAM SHEET  -  This is in very vague language but includes nice "short" quotes and phrases that are most cited
• Foundational Documents Quick Reference Guide  - Gives nice main points summary

3.  APRIL 16/17 - COMPLETE two argument essays from the slides/video presentation below on this document that can be found in your google drive:
